The Mitre-Mite VN 4 machine has now been enhanced to assemble wider frames, up to 6 1/2 inches. This new “long stroke” version is designed for small production runs and can precisely insert or stack V-Nails into the same corner positions frame after frame! After the framer set up the stops (up to 3 nail positions), the V-Nails are then automatically driven at the correct positions along the joint by simply stepping on the foot pedal and touching the hand lever. Other features include a pneumatic load/feed system to eliminate jams, “soft clamp” pneumatics for damage free joints and a “quick change” hold down to fit most profiles.
